Take a photo of the handwriting
A recipe card, a note or a letter. We lift the ink off the paper, lined paper too, and set it in the colour you choose.
Tip: take the photo in daylight, without flash. We remove the shadow of your hand. We only use your photo for this design.
How it looks
Handwriting is as recognisable as a face. Grandma's recipe card, a note from grandpa, the card you never throw away: take a photo and we keep it for good.
From photo to mug
We find the card and straighten it, even if you photograph at an angle.
The ink comes off the paper: yellowed paper turns white, the lines of lined paper disappear, and so do the stains.
The handwriting stays exactly as it is: no font, the real letters.
In a Delft frame
Choose cobalt blue, or . The handwriting sits in a Delft frame with little flowers in the corners and a title above: "Grandma's apple pie".
